Great idea but it is awfully risky to use techniques that will get you into this predicament. The amount of time being spent on spamming and cleaning up messes is equal to the amount of time spent on ethical methods. The benefits to ethical search engine optimization tend to outweigh those of blue or black hat.

Actually there is one tool that shows all links ponting to your website and it is very popular.

http://www.iwebtool.com/backlink_checker

It checks all backlinks pointing to a URL.

I hope I would never end up having to resort to that. I get alot of traffic from google and don’t want to spam my way out of the index! I have seen a few sites using spam that is ahead of mine, but I believe in the long run, my site is safe and stands the test of time.

great post as always. I’ve been reading your blog for a long time now. But i just found this post.

This is a superb idea. Thanx.
One of my client has her site penalised for duplicate content. G still index the home page, but the rest is in supplimentary, old.

So if I 301 redirect to a new domain, all the links to home page will be transfered. Anyways, there are not may links pointing to other pages.
