Those 100 reciprocal links are not all (100) destined to be trown to garbage. Now really...
Reciprocal link are beneficial for your SEO purposes if they're built with relevancy in mind and at a steady pase.

The social environmet of the web encourages reciprocation throughout websites as long as they built naturaly.

Hope this (rather short) comment helps your optimization campaign.

Cheers,

I'm not sure if the page ranking associated with the main domain, also gets associated with the subdomain? I'm still trying to figure that out.

When you are creating subdirectories on subdomains, is it ok to create 3 separate sub-directories on a one domain or do I have to create sub-directories on different domains?

Which is more efficient?

So you use link building techniques that aren't that great, but will build up some link juice to your crappy site, and then count on that site passing on link juice to your good site?

Do you ever redirect any of the links to your main site with this technique?

Totally not 3 way links which is basically A links to B and B links to C.

With "synergy links" B does reciprocal links with A (and D,E,F,G ... ) then direct links inside content to site C (which you own also).

I'd probably add to this that you should make sure and link to other good resources inside your niche with site B also, but not direct competition. This will make things less obvious and leave less footprints for Gg to find.

So you link the third party sites that you build massive links to, to your master site? You gather up a ton of links on say three dummy sites and then you somehow transfer that juice to your money site I suppose. Is it that easy?

@eli

Sorry Eli, maybe I'm #10k asking you. Did you already set a new release date for SEO Empire v.2 ? I'm soooo curious.

Will you release (almost) all your posts in an ebook (PDF) one day? I would certainly buy it.

Cheers,
Henry

@Webmaster Toolbox

" I create 3 dummy sites, all related to my master site. I then send traffic/backlinks to the dummy which forwards everything to the master. "

How do you redirect the traffic to your main money site? Do you use a page + link or a 301 or ... ?

I'm looking for the best way to forward visitors from one site to another without losing any. Hope you use a good technique.

Cheers,
Henry

Web site promotion is a tricky topic, but links from other sites are always helpful. Three way links are not always bad, it all depends how they are done, and how many you have.

This is pretty much 3 way linking. I have heard google caught on with this technique and are devaluing the links.
