When I started my site last year, I read seo for dummies and it promoted reciprocal linking. Its actually really dated and reciprocal linking does not work that well anymore. Furthermore, its a pain to make sure other site's are maintaining their promise. I used to pay 19.99 dollars per month for a reciprocal linking script to keep track of everything. I stop it . I might as well use that money to buy higher value one way links!
