Oh boy I haven’t done an actual product review in a really long time. Well with my effort to get back into posting regularly it couldn’t hurt to do one for the sake of catching up. More the merrier.
This one was sent in by the famous Mark from Digerati Marketing. It’s called Auto Stumble. Its job is pretty apparent, it helps you get exchange stumbles automatically.
I’ve been doing a lot of stumble work lately due to my recent release of several large community sites. Stumbleupon traffic doesn’t convert very well but it has some very good advantages other than the fact that its actual traffic.
1) The few users that convert tend to be very active
2) Stumbleupon users tend share links a lot with their friends. Great for branding and word of mouth.
3) They bookmark everything and anything which means lots of social bookmarking links.
4) They’re suckers for linkbait such as kittens in diapers and neatly featured sites. They really appreciate a good layout.
5) If the timing is right they do wonders for a site with a Digg button.
Auto Stumble is available at AutoStumble.net for £10 <- British Pounds?...Damn Paypal.. It's OK Paypal should automatically convert and its available for immediate download after the exchange. That's about $19.66 for you normal people
Auto Stumble automates the process in a pretty ingenious way. It runs as a background app in your system tray and automatically stumbles other users of the program's sites using your account and has them do the same. It's pretty nice but a tough tool to pull off because you really got to have a lot of people running it 24/7. I for one am a fan of this system because facts be faced piqq and stumblexchange have just gone to shit and they're really annoying to login every day and "earn credits." Once again though lots of people are required to pull off this tool in an effective way. I've already given the tool to the SQUIRT members as a bonus and Mark has recruited some buyers so there is enough to at least pull off a featured listing for most topics for at least an hour.
Here's a video with some more info:
“Normal” people? What’s wrong with good old sterling?? But yeh. Damn PayPal.
I think it has something to do with the picture of the queen on it…
There is no doubt that automation is the way to save time when using social media sites for profit more than fun.
We have a product in beta that allows you to really:
-> analyze your digg friend list (who is mutual, what is their vote/submit ration, etc
-> find new friends based on voting patterns, submits, front pages, etc
-> automatically un/friend individuals
-> automate the digg-a-shout process
If you’re interested in taking a look at it, create a username on our system and drop me an email.

Looks good, just paid for it and installing .net now. I’ll leave some feed back in a second, should be interesting to see how useful this is. I’ve got a few projects in the works so test data should be a plenty.
Great idea, can see accounts getting burned out pretty quick though.
Also reckon they should have given it away free for the first month to get the ball rolling…
Couple of years ago that would have only cost you $14, not our fault you put morons in charge of your economy
I have used this program for a while and it sure does boost visitors while it is running. Cheap as hell also so you really dont have a whole lot to use. Now if only my FARKING vista laptop would stop turning itself off FOR NO DMN REASON. If any has any iea how to top vista machines from turning off (no stupid answer like turn off sleep mode after x minutes please).
Back on subject….
Nice product, very easy to use and definitely seems to do what it says on the tin, now if we coul only get a program that would do stumble, digg and all the other stupid sites like them.
I usually use www.stumblecult.com for my stumble exchanges. its more like the sites you mentioned, but it does work.
And i am not a fan of putting my social media profile in someone elses control.
Good link - I’ll give that one a try. I agree about not wanting to put my profile in someone else’s control. Of course, maybe I’ll make a new profile to try out Auto Stumble…
Are these guys the same as from Social Zombies?
Social Zombies is exactly the same and does Diggs too, but seems to have been under closed beta testing for ages…
hmmm….
why to cheat with stumble? if your resource is good then it’ll get more stumble traffic eventually.
ooh I forget we doing blue-grey-dark marketing/seo
to make such progy we need to analyze http request of actual stumble tool bar?
if anynow already have it then we could be simple greasemonkey script for firefox in no time, to do this for us free.
Yeah I’m sure there’s a million ways to get this done…but the app is only $20 which means if I take more than 45 minutes to code something myself I would then be LOSING money. It’s a cheap app and works well…and when those two beautiful factors collide I usually take advantage of it.
I will check out this tool. I will also check out promote my site and stumble cult. Thanks for the juicy info.
Also for those of you that don’t know, Auto Social Poster is a pretty decent WordPress plugin to automate social bookmarking. You’ll have to find it for free though, since it’s not worth the $200 you have to shell out for it.
@ Jez
With camoflague URLs built in, it is unlikely accounts will get “burnt out”.
Also the ball already is rolling as we have over 200 members
- it was free for a while
Hmm not really. I bought it and after running it a full 24 hours, I’ve gotten about 14 stumbles so far…I’ve stumbled like 54 but thats all I could stumble thus far… The queue ran out which tells me not that many people are using it.
Hopefully it picks up some, as it seems like it would be a great program.
hmm.. thats interesting because a site that I hd supposedly received hundred or so stumbles to (probably more tbh) has only got 14 stumbles listed on the SU website, whats going on here?
That’s due to how we built the queue system. It doesn’t dish everything out at once, to stop being just starting it, getting their stumbles and f*cking off. Also helps it look dodgy.
This looks like a fairly useful tool… I’m going to give it a shot and I’ll share some feedback shortly.
Great idea, can see accounts getting burned out pretty quick though.
I’ll probably buy this product - and thanks for the tip - but one thing I *don’t* like about it is when it (apparently) indicates when a generated Stumble is ‘camoflagued’.
Because what that means is anyone using the program can see which websites are gaming Stumbles (the ones NOT indicated as being camoflagued)… and so I can only assume that Stumbleupon staff could purchase this software and record all the sites using it to game their system.
IMO, it would be far more effective if this program didn’t indicate which were the gamed sites and which were random sites being stumbled (we don’t need to know that information as end users anyway).
Just my 2 cents and thanks again for the heads up.
That’s going. Thanks for the 2 cents!
yeah, or your sites being banned
Yet to happen to any of our 300 users as far as I am aware.
Has anyone attempted to make this run in Wine? I’m kinda doubting it due to the .NET crap.
Someone needs to write a server based system and feed it with a never ending supply of proxies
How to run on Wine:
http://www.digeratimarketing.co.uk/2008/06/13/how-to-install-autostumble-on-linux/
No amount of proxies will hide the fact everything is being stumbled from the same account to a single URL.
That’s not how it works at all
Read the tin and come back.
@ Jimbo
Comments like this really get under my skin. Jimbo, if you’d tried the program - or even bothered reading about how it works, you’d see that’s not how it works at all.
The URLs entered are put into a randomly handed out queue, along with other camo URLs. The URL you enter is stumbled by hundreds of other random peoples’ accounts. If you enter a second URL, it is stumbled by mostly different accounts again.
Comments like that get under your skin? I was trying to point out there is no need for a proxy, and that is because everything is from the same account anyway. I have had this program for about 2months before this review so i know plenty about it………
Thanks for the tip. Will check it out.
Thanks I am interested in this. Only thing is that you might need proxies? Good read though!
There is no need for proxies. That would make it look more dodgy. Do you use a proxy everytime you stumble something??
I was searching really hard through search engines on some topics but finally i found it. Information provided here is really usefull. Thanks for such nice stuff! Toufique Ahmed http://bestwebdirectorysubmission.com
Thanks, a good article
Looks like very good tool. I might use it for my work.
There is always a good old tor for those struggling to get a decent list of proxies. Switching identities automatically might be a problem however.
Interesting tool…I am going to give it a shot.
Sounds like a good tool, but I’m more interested in the kittens in diapers.
Does this work with the better operating system, osx?
I think it will work only on windows system
Just installed this and will see how well it works now.
John
Anyone know where to get a copy of auto social poster to test out? I hit a sales page but it looks like it’s off the market…? Thanks in advance.
As far as I know it only works on windows. I am running it on vista and it seems to work without any problems.
Works on Linux:
http://www.digeratimarketing.co.uk/2008/06/13/how-to-install-autostumble-on-linux/
Fun and easy to use. I’ve been using it for a week and it’s generated 20k+ visitors. Of course, social traffic doesn’t convert — but it’s a nice way to launch useful sites.
The idea is more to get links rather than $$ traffic
ooh I forget we doing blue-grey-dark marketing/seo
i was using piqq and stumble exhange for a while but they are now pretty much useless.
I usually use www.stumblecult.com for my stumble exchanges.
I use the bot at http://www.stumblebot.com
Its a automate stumbler + account creator+ friend adder. The ultimate SU solution
Isn´t a trial version available of this ?
Badly i don´t want to spend money on something that isn’t worth it.
Regards
Any other reviews of this software? Cheers.
I can attest that this product does what it says… It will really vote up other people’s sites and it will get other people to vote up your sites.
How it turns into traffic is a different thing. My guess is that people will have highly variable results with it.
I like the idea of using a peer-to-peer network to generate activity. However, autostumble leaves a lot to be desired in the executive control, event sequencing, ass covering and other related departments — it could do a MUCH better job of looking organic.
I’ll be kind and avoid any detailed criticism which would give aid and comfort to SU’s spam team.
If you have geniune ideas to make it better, I’d be very pleased to hear them: mark@digeratimarketing.co.uk
Yes, book marking is all very well, but if I have to go through the entire list on my book marks, it will take two days! Automation like Auto Stumble makes sense and the price is not too high. Is the charge a one off or is it for any period?
One off charge for life my friend
Primitive or not, I had some good luck with it once I got some kinks out that had to with initial submission (get a better stumbler than me to do it) and tagging (make sure that it has tags that get big readership.)
Now the main problem is keeping my server up…
AutoStumble Under Linux with Wine anyone?
http://j0rd.com/auto_stumble_linux-howto.html
I use www.s;Dtumblecult.com from all stumble exchanges.
Runs on xp64 nicely
Interesting … Is there any risk of being banned from StumbleUpon using this software ?
Yes. Albeit very, very small. Of 300 users and over 50,000 stumbles I am not aware of anyone being banned.
Interesting product and great review.
What if someone want to cheat by not stumbling on other’s sites and only submitting his own? How is this program deals with this?
You don’t get a choice, it automatically stumbles others sites before yours get put into the queue. That’s why it’s called AutoStumble
P
I absolutely love this blog!! You guys are all kick ass at this stuff.
I am like one or two steps behind in understanding alot of this blue hat trickery. I can’t just write a simple script ya know?
I don’t want to bother Eli or the readers here with non advanced seo questions so…
Can anyone here point me to another site that is just a little bit less advanced? Some place I can go and read everything and come back here in a few months better prepared?
Perhaps some of the readers here have an seo site like this one but a little less advanced…
I would REALLY appreciate some guidance here.
Thanks all
It DOES NOT work as it says…
I bought the program and left it running on the whole weekend. I gave 80 stumbles to people and received 60…
On the program´s site it shows “You can get 11550 acesses”, but only got 50 in 2 days… multiply by 15 -> 750. what about those 11k?? never.
Scam…
Er.. The program works exactly as it says and we’ve had many, many happy users. I don’t remember writing “You can get 11550 acesses” on the website, as that isn’t evening English. “but only got 50 in 2 days… multiply by 15 -> 750. what about those 11k?? never.”
If you have a question in English, I would be happy to answer.
Don’t go calling scam when you can barely type.
Haha, look at this retard go!

I honestly believe like anything in life, you need to put the effort in and deliver value to people. All these short term gimmicks will only be useful until Google catches on and then wham - out they go - along with all the time and resources in setting it up in the first place. one thing to remember. always provide and add value!!
Yes I agree with you. Thank’s for a very nice comments.
this is what happened to Digerati’s site ..
Banned site
Banned Site
You cannot rate or comment on this website. It has been banned from StumbleUpon because the owner has been abusing our service, or has asked that their site not be included in StumbleUpon.
If this still doesn’t work for you, please Contact Us to let us know
AutoStumble was never run on Digerati, however Stumbleupon did manually ban it because I’m promoting a system to dupe there’s. (Notice AutoStumble is also banned).
Someone obviously stumbled the post about AutoStumble and enough SUers rated it down for a ban.
The site’s I’ve been running it on (since launch) have never been banned - and I have not received 1 report of a site being banned.
Anyone had a site banned?
What can i say been using it since reviewed here. Does what it says on the tin generates around 300 hits a day for me, Now no matter what faults or lifespan this has its worth £10 of anyones money to help launch new sites. After that your site genuine value that will bring return visits right?
Regards long term reader/stalker ^_-
and no i don’t have anything to do with this site or this software but you wont believe that anyway will you (I never do) and if your wise you wont on 99% of seo marketing BS sites that we all have to trawl through to find decent ones like this.
Thanks for a very informative article, i enjoyed that and also enjoyed the ensuing conversation via the comments. You can tell that is is a popular subject when it excites so much discussion!
I’ll probably try that product and thanks for the review. I have now an idea on how it works.
Its bloody 20 pounds now. what a wanker to double the dam price. frickin greedy pom! you lost me and many others i’m sure!
Value of program is directly proportional to network size, which is over 3 times that of when this post was made. Therefore, value wise, you’re getting more
If ya can’t afford £20 then you’re probably not in a position to use the software properley anyway!
Very nice! i don`t speek english
Ive read about this program recently in another forum but was pretty sure it was more than the $20 bucks stated here
Great idea, can see accounts getting burned out pretty quick though…
Well, that’s a nice tool but isn’t it a tool to spam stumbleupon?
Anyway, thanks for that but I hope it may help bring me thousands of traffic.
Nice tool - trying to get it work right now for me - need to get more traffic to the site!
I would consider this a waste of time and money
Any expansion on that comment? Or just a random thought?
The auto stumble tool has a great concept but to keep it the application running 24/7 is not a viable option.
It doesn’t have to run 27/7 (even though I run it this long!)
Just the longer you leave it running, the better performance you will get!
Been fooling around with similar systems with very good results. Seems like stumbleupon is getting a bit smarter lately though.
Been more than a month since we heard from you. All well?
Looks pretty sweet. I may swag myself a copy at that price.
Wow this is great! I will try this one.
Does anybody still use this? There only ever seems to be 1 site in my queue
It looks to good to be true… Hmmm!
does autostumble really work.
It does not work. And support does not answer (and they don’t refound)
Very interesting post! Thank you!
