So Google is getting pretty swell at finding redirecting pages. Javascript is out. CSS is out. htaccess is out. Whats left?
Try redirecting through flash. Flash scripts can forward the browser to a new page. Search engines also can’t read flash and won’t redirect.
I only put this post up in honor of Matt Cutts appearing on WebmasterRadio
I’ve created a blog (http://www.mystery-method-blog.com/) around the Mystery Method (pick-up and seduction stuff) which will eventually sell the MM ebook. At the moment there’s no affiliate links on the site but I will add them soon.
I intend on cloaking the affiliate links, do you think this will result in a penalty from Google? (Most of my traffic is from G so this does concern me.)
Hi Mystery,
I guess it depends on what you mean by cloaking your affiliate links. You don’t necessarily need to cloak the entire site(I have never been a fan of cloaking) to have your affiliate links not show up. There are many methods you can use that’s not even considered cloaking, nor nearly as risky.

Consider just using redirects like this:
Linked text hereCode tags don’t work — look at the source code of the page to see what I’m talking about. Makes the link invisible to the viewer, which adds ethos to your claims.
Excellent work around Eli!
