A Few Quick Announcements

Posted By Eli On June 6, 2007 @ 4:00 pm In Announcements | Comments Disabled

I got a few quick announcements to get out of the way if you don’t mind.

You’ve probably noticed that even though this blog is over a year and a half old I haven’t done any montenization on it. I’m not personally against the idea of it (I am an Internet marketer after all) but I’ve been holding out for a really good idea of how exactly to do it. I don’t want to just throw up some banners or become super lame by getting people to signup through my Algco account (kidding! I don’t do MLM schemes). I also would NEVER dream of putting the information here on a paid model. I want to monotenize it in a way that directly makes people money and helps them become more successful. That’s obviously easier pitched than done. :) But I think I came up with a good solution of how to do it.

Since the release of the [1] QUIT turned out. It’s been thoroughly put through the ringer by over 50 bloggers and popular forums as well as thousands of readers here and has more than proven itself. It has finally been PROVEN to the industry that not only is it possible to get indexed in less than 24 hours but it can be done as easily as filling out a very short four part form and clicking a button. The concept actually goes one step further than that. Rankings can be just as easily acquired and admittedly for my own ego’s sake I want to prove to the industry that not only is it possible but anyone can do it.

So Here’s What’s Going To Happen
Sometime within a week I will be releasing a subscription based access to a version of my own personal toolset. The subscription will cost $100/month (canceling will be allowed anytime and none of your personalized data on your account will be deleted).

Here’s what the subscribers will get
1. SQUIRT- Super Quick Indexing and Ranking Tool.
  A. Does everything [2] QUIT does but even more efficiently, also includes a ton of extra social bookmarking sites. Including the virgin ones that no tools as of yet has the skills to automate submissions to.

  B. Gets your site deep indexed faster. So not only will your main page go in faster but the rest of your site will get indexed faster and more efficiently.

  C. Utilizes many of the techniques talked about here automatically. This includes Rollover sites, third party sitemaps, keyword real estate and several others that I haven’t even talked about yet. NONE of which can possibly get you banned or penalized. You are perfectly safe using this tool.

  D. Deep analysis of your site. The tool looks at every possible ranking factor you can think of; including both onsite and offsite. It then rates your site on a percentage scale. 100% of course being the perfect site with perfect existing promotion(none exist that i’ve managed to find yet) and 1% being essentially brand new site with no promotion and horrible onsite factors. The analysis tool is an exact clone of the same one I use. It is all 100% custom and I use it everyday to analyze my sites as well as my competitions. As far as SEO analysis tools go it’s about as accurate as it gets.

  E. Custom promotion. After analyzing your site and current levels of promotion the tool determines your weaknesses and strong points and automatically determines the perfect promotional campaign you will need to reach the top 10. There are literally thousands of different combinations the tool can go from there to determine the absolute perfect path to success for any given site. Can you guess what it does with this information?

  F. It promotes your site. It uses it’s analysis to determine what techniques are needed to get you ranking in the top 10 and it automatically does them. The whole process from the time you fill out the two part form (URL and up to 3 keywords/phrases you are wanting to rank for) takes less than 3 minutes to run. So in other words you can build a site and have it promoted perfectly and precisely within a couple minutes. Sorry skeptics, there’s no B.S. here :)

2. X amount of submissions/day will be allowed
  A. You will be allowed so many submissions a day through the tool. We haven’t quite worked out what the numbers will be yet, but they will be more than ample for the high producing webmaster, and at the same time low enough so the tool doesn’t get overly saturated.

  B. I’m only going to allow 100 members. With the obvious power behind the tool I can’t let every Joe Schmoe play around with it. As neat as this tool is, it is definitely no toy and the use of it needs to be taken seriously. Which is why I’m giving you guys the first heads up. I know once I release it several large forums and blogs will catch wind, and while thats all fair I am personally biased with the Blue Hat readers. So I’m letting everyone here know in advanced. So if you’re interested in joining, be on the look out and if this site isn’t already in your reader or live bookmarks be sure to add it, because idealy I want you guys to have the first crack at it. Than if there are any extra slots others are welcome to it. This tool is for you after all not them.

3. Access to my personal content club
  A. I’m going to be throwing up a HUGE collection of custom databases and scripts for you to download and use at will. They will all be free with the subscription. After all, what good is a tool that helps you mass promote a ton of sites quickly if you can’t easily produce sites just as quickly and easily. So I really want to help people build their networks and become more powerful in their markets. I think a private content club will be the perfect way to do that.

  B. I also am cutting a deal with a good friend of mine (and avid reader here) to continually produce databases. He is incredibly talented at collecting high quality data and he sells his databases for big bucks. However since he’s a reader and commenter here he’s been cool enough to join in and help everyone out. So we’ll see what kind of deal we can cut so he can get paid for his work while at the same time getting to help you guys out with more quality data than you can handle.

4. Discounts on Blue Hat Tools.
  A. A lot of posts here require custom coding. I’ve always encouraged programmers to join in and code my techniques for the readers here and sell them through the comments. I think thats a great way to not only reward the people who create the scripts and share them but to help the nontechnical people get their hands on the tools and scripts they wouldn’t be able to any other way. However there have been several large unforeseen problems this has caused. I have no idea who is trying to rip off my readers and who is legit. grrr. :( So this way I’m going to team up with my own personal highly talented programmers and giving them heads up on all my upcoming posts that require custom scripts made. So when the techniques get posted here, you can log into your account and buy the script for a hugely discounted price.

What To Expect As Far As Ranking Capabilities
The tool is designed to rank a site within the top 10 for most medium and small sized niches. All the promotion in the world of course can’t rank a poorly designed site so that part is of course left up to you. However with adequate onsite SEO the tool by itself should be able to perform quite well within most medium sized niches alone. I also encourage everyone to test that for themselves.

So there you go. :) If you’re interested, keep your head up. It’ll be coming within about a week or less. I’ll post it here first and it’ll be hosted on a another server of mine as well as the blog of my business partner(an awesome programmer). I’ll be honest, I’m kind of scared of selling out and I’m even more scared of hyping something and having it not turn out to be as great as people were hoping. So please feel free to help me out with this. I really want to hear your opinions and ideas of what you would like to see to make this tool/club be of even more value to you. I want the $100/month to be pennies compared to what people actually get, so anything you can think of to make it even more badass let me know.

Thanks,
Eli

#5 Comment By Eli On June 6, 2007 @ 5:02 pm

We’re actually finishing up the beta testing now. So far everything is perfect :)
We’re adding the few last features such as getting all the databases in and working on the verbage and sales page(no it won’t be one of those cheesy ones haha).

but its very very close. I’ll let you all know when its about to be released. We’re actually thinking extremely early this Monday morning, but thats still being debated. I’m one of those perfectionist types.

Thanks for all your support guys/gals, I promise I won’t let you down. :)

Oh, I forgot to mention in the post. The QUIT tool will always stay free. So no one should be worried.

#13 Comment By Shawn On June 6, 2007 @ 7:07 pm

Sounds like a great idea.

When I join, does 1 membership allow you to use SQUIRT for only 1 site, or can many sites be promoted using SQUIRT by one member? If so, is there a limit on the # of sites?

#14 Comment By Wong On June 6, 2007 @ 7:09 pm

Hi Eli,
Please count me in and send me email when it is ready. I’m just have one concern. Since I’m not a tech guy, will support be provided? (I don’t expect you to install script for me but at least you can guide me how to install some scripts that I want).

#15 Comment By Eli On June 6, 2007 @ 7:12 pm

no installation or technical skills required.
You login using an email and password. Then you type in your website url and up to 3 keywords you want to rank for. Thats all :)

There is support though.

How will this tool promote the site? Will it submit to directories? I am very interested in this also.

#25 Comment By Eli On June 6, 2007 @ 8:23 pm

There will be a limit on the number of sites you can submit per day but it’ll be a good number. We haven’t completely settled on how many yet. Question, how many would you need per day?

#26 Comment By AJ On June 6, 2007 @ 8:48 pm

I’ve been a lurker but i want in. the myspace example was great. i’m in that space and ned all the help i can get. i’m in 2 other monthly pay programs that started with promise but wasn’t consistent so i hope this proves to be the exception to the rule,

#27 Comment By Ron J On June 6, 2007 @ 8:51 pm

#28 Comment By Eli On June 6, 2007 @ 8:55 pm

I will be sure to make a post announcing its exact release time in 24 hours of the release. Ya know I got your guy’s back :)

#29 Comment By ScottDaMan On June 6, 2007 @ 9:43 pm

Damnit dude, why do you have to do this now? Next month I could actually afford this. Right now, I’m too busy digging out from hired projects.

Grrr… Oh well, hopefully their will be a slot avail for me in the next few months dude. This would be a.w.e.s.o.m.e

WOW. Sounds really cool.

Usually I’m quite reluctant to pay 100$/month for anything, since I don’t have too much money these days.

But if this tool will do what it promises to do, heck, count me in baby. At least one month for trying out this tool I’ll have to take.

#46 Comment By Alex On June 7, 2007 @ 2:22 am

Brilliant idea! Definitely count me in.

Would you also consider a private forum where users can help each other about the best ways to use these tools, post new ideas or enhancements or even their own scripts? I know I’d definitely post my 100 links / hour script if it proves to work OK.

Take care!

Sound interesting, I’ll give it a try without a doubt.

I’m ready to go and I can honestly say you’re about the only guy I’d pay $100 a month to. My cc’s ready.

I’ve been impressing the shit out of my clients with your QUIT tool. (I also do IM for a living.)

Now all the gurus who send me a zillion e-mails telling me they’re my new best friend and they can make me rich will REALLY have to tremble.

I use your site for my homepage, so I HOPE I get in.

#54 Comment By Nick On June 7, 2007 @ 6:18 am

Heya Eli!

Count me in of course. The forum idea mentioned above would be great if possible.

Would your readers have some priority on this? Time Zone may get some of us a bit late. I guess you will have much more than 100 suscribers inmediately.

Take care

Dude, are you sure you’re not going to sell us out to Google in a month, then write about “How to get all your competitor’s info AND get them to pay to give it to you?!” *L*

I’m in, but next month, when I have time to cycle up some new sites. I guess I’ll be on the waiting list.

Very clever work again, Eli. My hat’s off to you.

#62 Comment By Shawn On June 7, 2007 @ 8:15 am

25 sites/day would be awesome, 10 per day would be cool too!

Also, for any site then submitted, would each site received the analysis/promotion techniques your tool is designed to do?

If so, awesome! We are working on launching a “network” of sites and this will be perfect!

One question, would you recommend I only submit a site every so often, would submitting the same few over and over be too much?

Thanks.

#80 Comment By Mike S On June 7, 2007 @ 12:52 pm

Will it make sense to submit the same site through the tool more than once? If not then personally I would be happy with just 1. But 10 per day seems good. I don’t think I will ever create more than 300 sites a month!

and is it allowed to use your script for sex-sites?

#84 Comment By Eli On June 7, 2007 @ 1:35 pm

Heya RRF (you now have an acronym as a nickname),
Any type of sites are fine.

#85 Comment By Eli On June 7, 2007 @ 2:24 pm

you will only need to submit each site once, although if you want to go back after a couple months and submit it again, i see no problem with that. It follows all the same principles as QUIT does. So only one submission is needed any more really won’t do you a ton of good.

10 sites/day sounds good with me. I’ll work the math out and see if that’ll work. No promises but expect at least more than 5.

#86 Comment By Eli On June 7, 2007 @ 2:27 pm

It won’t submit to directories. It will promte much in the same way QUIT does, except it’ll do it better and deeper within your site. Unlike QUIT It also promotes through my own personal rollover sites, blog accounts, keyword real estate, and various other private links I hold.

It also does several techniques I’ve never talked about, and a couple I never plan on talking about :)

#87 Comment By Marco On June 7, 2007 @ 2:31 pm

Hey Eli could you please tell where you are based and what time are you planning to release it?
Thank you!

#88 Comment By Eli On June 7, 2007 @ 2:36 pm

I am based out of Oregon. About 24 hours before I release it i’ll put up a post here saying the exact time. I’ll also be sure to include some time zones so ppl don’t get confused. :)

We’re estimating for release early Monday morning.

#97 Comment By Raven Riley Fans On June 8, 2007 @ 1:51 am

Hi Eli, I just have another few questions :)

I’m planning a new website which I want to promote via your new tool, so I need to know which way would work better with your new script.

typ 1: [3] http://sub-niche.niche.com
typ 2: [4] http://www.niche.com/sub-niche/

I ask because every sub-niche should be listed at individual sub-niche keywords and every sub-niche consists of about 1-10 pages

Second question:
Is it possible to pay via epassporte or creditcard?

thanks a lot, RRF :)

Sheesh Eli, 10 websites a day! I’m doing well to get a decent one out each week. How about a $10/month deal for a 1 website a day option? Might let more than 100 get their foot in the door and save some of the anguish later from those who miss out on the main offer.

sorry, but i think than players that less sense it makes. 100 are a good number for the members cause there are less competitors and they are enought for eli to earn a little bit :)

Is the Deep analysis tool a separate stand alone tool from the rest? Is there any possibility of just purchasing it and not the other tools?

#103 Comment By Eli On June 8, 2007 @ 8:05 am

The analysis tool is free. You don’t even need to be a subscriber. Guest accounts can use it as well. Although it is a completely visually tool, there’s really no helpful output other than to see your site’s progress forward day to day.

#104 Comment By Jacob On June 8, 2007 @ 8:27 am

I second the motion to have a lower volume subscription option. For some, including myself, paying $10-20/month for a submission a day (or even one or two a week) would be great. It would also have the advantages of allowing more people to use the tool and probably increase your revenues.

#106 Comment By Andy On June 8, 2007 @ 9:08 am

Eli,

It seems there is a ton of interest here.

I humbly suggest that you increase the number of subscribers to, let’s say 200 and at the same time REDUCE the number of submissions a day to half of what you were thinking so as not to reduce the effectiveness of the tool.

I think a lot of people would still want in even if there was only 1 submission allowed a day, Hell, I can’t make more than a site a day.

Thanks, but honestly this isn’t some sort of John Chow lesson I’m doing on how to take money or links from your readers. Rest assure my agenda is nothing but good willed on this project. I really have no intentions of turning the blue hat readers into customers. So please only buy the tool if you have genuine use for it and it can help you make more money. It’s nothing more than a tool to make your careers easier, so don’t subscribe out of trust for me or expecting flying toasters to pop out of your screen everytime you click the submit button(my tools are very slimlined and waste no time). It’s just an automated SEO tool, not like your hacking a gibson or anything. I’m not after peoples lunch money here. So please invest your money wisely and for god sakes don’t break your bank on me. You need it to grow your businesses and I’ll be just fine without it.

So I’ll leave it at that. Treat this opportunity as an investment. Don’t just blindly jump into it because some blogger you’ve probably never met in real life said to. After all, I get no bragging rights 5 years down the road if all my readers go broke :)

RRF,

The tool looks at the type of url submitted, and then rates the submissions on over 60 different characteristics. It then chooses the method of promotion for that particular class of site.
type 1: [5] http://sub-niche.niche.com
type 2: [6] http://www.niche.com/sub-niche/

It would promote each of those differently.. But from an SEO perspective it would be nice to have it as a sub domain, with your main keyword in the sub domain.

Just my 2 bits.

don’t worry eli I’m ready to eat out the the palm of your hand for a reason, your methods work and are profitable. 100 a month isn’t shit compared to what techniques I’ve learned from your site are already making me. So for the price, even if the program didn’t work at all I wouldn’t mind so much just because in the past you have come through so well. At this point your like my George Lucas, no matter how badly you treat me(with shitty new movies) and how shitty anything you do is, I’ll always remember how good you were to me(original trilogy) and come crawling back to use your next script/idea.(or crappy ewok movie)

It does a very good job of getting the site deep indexed. So if you have a page that links to many of the subdomains i’d recommend just submitting that. The rest should get picked up very easily.

Eli,

I am going to be a contrarian, and suggest that you offer “jumbo” packages that allow for more submissions each day. 10 a day is not even 4000 per year! It would take years to get through all my domains.

I would be happy to pay for this, just to see if it works. (Any chance those of us who donated for QUIT can get secured spots?)

I have to say I’m one of those “invisible” readers

You always asked programmers to come forward, with my 10+ yrs proggramming, web development experince I’m enlisting myself

As this blog is becoming kind of a daily addiction, I think it’s fair to spare sometime to give back to it & it’s readers

I don’t want anyone to be fooled by the simplicity of the site, as I use it mainly as a contact page

I think the uniqness of this blog is in it’s “brain storming” & readers

Definitely in if I can make it in time! (Maybe I can turn my RSS reader into an alarm clock with a little tweaking :P )

If I might suggest, having a more forum-centric area in the paid members section might make it easier for people to contribute supporting thoughts and ideas. (Comments are great, but it’d probably be easier for everyone if you could just ’sticky’ what you agreed was helpful reader-contributions and float them up top.)

Hi Eli,

can you tell us something about the trackback submitter? There are quite some sites popping up recently offering trackback submitters.

1. Will you be able to choose the keywords for the tool to search for relevant blogs etc.?

2. Will submitted sites/trackbacks be stored in a database or something so that when you pause and resume it doesn’t submit to the same blogs again?

3. Will it be able to circumvene anti-spam plugins?

4. Will it be a standalone tool to download, hosted on your server or something we can install on our own servers and let it run 24/7 predefined (i.e. max. 10 or 20 trackbacks per day etc.)

Trackback Submitters are touted as being very effective in gaining backlinks and climbing in the SERPS quickly.

What is your own experience? Does this whole “trackbacking” also work for very competitive niches?

Looking forward to your feedback.

Best,
Mike

#132 Comment By Eli On June 10, 2007 @ 11:36 am

It’s a stand alone, meaning you can download it and install it on your server. I have to say the few people in this world i’ve shared this with have all said its the most insane trackback poster they’ve ever used.

Here’s the description from the vault.
Very powerful trackback poster. Trackback Solution is 100% multithreaded and very efficient at automatically locating and posting trackback links on blogs.

* Finds premium blog posts targeted for your keywords.
* Locates high page rank blog posts.
* Automatically locates coveted links by searching for blog posts that are aged, very new, and have high authority.
* Utilizes very accurate success counts. Most commercial scripts just say how many success responses they received. Trackback Solution actually reports how many times your link successfully made it live on their post.
* 100% customizable slow growth through a cronjob.
* Completely automatic.
* Very easy to use.
* Proxy support.

The script (as with all my tools) is TRUE multithreaded (sorry php guys). Which means it doesn’t just execute a bunch of system commands like is only available in php. It actually uses multiple parent processes and can reach across cores. So fast isn’t even the word for how quickly this thing moves. It also has an easy to set cronjob that allows you to grow a group of sites slowly over time. I’ve gotten a site of mine up to 160k links using this tool over the course of 8 months. It also does a technique I call “spreading” which helps it locate the premium blog posts so it doesn’t just post to a bunch of typepad crap like other tbposters.

The only major downside of course is that it is written completely in cgi. A lot of people aren’t great with installing cgi scripts because they’re so used to php, although the install really isn’t hard.

#133 Comment By Wong On June 10, 2007 @ 12:43 pm

Regarding the trackback tool, does my site need to be a blog in order to use this tool? Is there any other way to use this trackback tool even my site is a static html or php site?

#134 Comment By Mike On June 10, 2007 @ 12:45 pm

Wow, Eli, thanks for your thorough reply. What are the server requirements for this tool? I guess I’ll need A VPS minimum.

Do you mean you have 160k backlinks for only 1 site?? And all those 160k links are still active? This should have given you page 1 rankings Google for most of the terms you wanted ;-)

I guess it fetches only those blogs with your desired keywords/topics?

Oh yes, do you know whether it bypasses those anti-spam plugins?

Thanks again,
Mike

#135 Comment By Eli On June 10, 2007 @ 12:45 pm

Yeah you can use it on any site you want for any keywords you want. but of course remember, if you don’t have a link back to their site trackback posting becomes trackback spam. So consider it a spam tool, which of course I have to disclaim. :)

If your not seasoned in trackback spam perhaps it would be best to not use the trackback solution until your ready. Certainly don’t use it on whitehat sites. :)

#136 Comment By Mike On June 10, 2007 @ 12:45 pm

If I’m not ill-informed you do not need a blog but every website will do.

#137 Comment By Eli On June 10, 2007 @ 12:55 pm

It doesn’t bypass antispam plugins but it is very good at finding the blogs with certain ones not installed. It also is VERY accurate with it’s reporting. I absolutely hate tools that false report, like they’ll say they got 600 successful posts when really you only got 38 links that successfully went through and exist. So when this tool says it got 50 successful links, it really means that despite any spam filters. So there’s no real guessing when it comes to the results.

Yes, my site still has that many links. :)

Rob and Eli,

thanks for your answers. Quite frankly, I was looking for a trackback submitter the last days and just coincidentally read in your recent post that you’ll add it to the package. That’s why I’m interested and asked so many questions :-)

If you don’t mind sharing, which hosting provider would be “safe” to use the trackback tool? Now all hosts I know say in their TOS that you are not alllowed to send “spam”. *lol* In this regard it’s a little of a stretch and one could argue that this is a “normal” trackback submitter. But nonetheless your opinion on this would be interesting. I guess if you do not overdo it one should be ok though.

To all others, this tool alone is worth the first month’s fee, and then some!

Mike

#145 Comment By Eli On June 10, 2007 @ 2:18 pm

It has full proxy support so I definitely recommend going that route. Although if you wanted to run it dedicated I’ve found that for some reason many services based out of London are very lenient about complaints.

As far as the value goes I’m not going to be shy about agreeing. Rob hand coded the whole thing from scratch. He has a tendency to go overboard when it comes making a tool powerful. Which is why we were so disappointed about abandoning the release of it. Even though we never planned on selling it on blue hat we still wanted it to be very affordable and the $180 cost definitely doesn’t do the tool justice. There are several commercial TB posters that sell for much more and look pathetic compared to Rob’s.

#147 Comment By Nick On June 10, 2007 @ 2:47 pm

Hey Eli,

Some quick questions:

“The tool is designed to rank a site within the top 10 for most medium and small sized niches. It promotes your site. It uses it’s analysis to determine what techniques are needed to get you ranking in the top 10 and it automatically does them.”

Would it be possible to clarify how the tool works when promoting your websites? All set on auto-pilot?
(Just would like to know what I will have to do manually after using the tool)

Would you use it for white hat projects?

Thanks :)

#148 Comment By Eli On June 10, 2007 @ 3:05 pm

Very good question,
Everytime you produce a site, run it through the tool first thing. Then do everything you would normally do when promoting your sites. The tool is just there to help you and make things a lot quicker, more affective, and easier, not be an end all solution. Even though it very does well on it’s own it’s definitely no excuse to get lazy or to think you’ll never have to promote another site again.

Everything is set on autopilot. Infact you may be disappointed when you first run the tool because, other than your analysis, it doesn’t display much complicated output. It just says something along the lines of “done.” From there the tool is continually doing everything it needs(within it’s limitations) for your site.

I use this tool definitely for white hat sites. Infact thats mostly what I use it on.
