I would think the purpose would be to remind people to unplug and get some enjoyment out of life. Take a break have some fun and unwind. The last thing you want to do is overwork yourself and then suffer a long “burnout” period.

wow, I gotta say I’m kind of shocked at how harsh some people are taking this April fools day joke. Was it really that over the top? My apologize go out to anyone who linked to the podcast post thinking it was real, but for everyone else, expect the worst next year.

It should be noted that me and Jon are actually considering doing the podcast for real. We just got to work out some of the technical details. I’ll keep you guys in the loop.

All in all I think this years April fools day joke was a smashing success. Thanks to those who called in and can laugh about it. Jon and I didn’t actually even consider the fact that it was a long distance phone call until after the prank was done. If you called in and it caused you any financial damage you weren’t prepared for email me and let me know. I couldn’t imagine it would be very much, but I’m here to help you make money not loose it over some joke.
