Blue Hat Technique #7-Indexed In Google Within 48 Hours

Posted By Eli On February 4, 2006 @ 3:59 am In Blue Hat Techniques | 80 Comments

Attention Spam Recipient!

**Limited Time Offer**

For only $29.95 you can be listed in Google within 48 hours and have top 10 placement in Google for any keyword you choose GUARANTEED!

Really?! COOL! I’ll take “Real Estate”, “Computers”, and hell “Internet” to.

I know none of you are amateurs. So as much as I was hoping to bust some pace-makers I won’t bother explaining why this is a scam.

The funny thing is; I get about four or five of these type of emails a day and every time I delete them I catch myself having a quick half second wandering thought. Perhaps, they do know something I don’t. NAH! Then I proceed to hit delete. Admit it, no matter how good you are you catch yourself doing the same thing. I refuse to believe I’m the only insane person in the world.

There is however some truth to the wonderful offer between all the guarantees.

you can be listed in Google within 48 hours

Now to get some things straight. I have no idea what these scammers are talking about. I never bothered to ask them how they plan on getting your site into the Google index within 48 hours. There are really three possibilities:

1) They are straight up lying

2) They are using some crazy blackhat technique

3) They know what I am about to share with you

So to stomp out any myths. Yes, you can get indexed in Google within 48 hours. No, it is not a blackhat technique. It’s really not even that sneaky of a practice. In fact, Google probably likes it because it makes their system better.

Now that I beat around the bush for too long. Here is how you get listed in Google in 48 hours.

1) Get some Google Adsense code.

2) Put the code on the page you want indexed

3) Go to the page in your browser and hit refresh every couple seconds or so until the Community Service ads go away and real advertisers start to appear. This usually takes around 40 or so refreshes, but it really depends.

What happened? Google Adsense does not get paid for the community ads. So they make no money until they can determine exactly what your site is about so they can display relevant ads. So when Google sees people hitting this page with Adsense that isn’t in their index it rushes its little spiders over there to find out what the page is about and spider its content quickly before Google loses more money. For efficiency sake, it uses the information to add your site to the index. This usually happens within 48 hours. Using this technique I’ve seen an entire site go into the index within a couple hours. Some times I’ve seen it take up to 3-4 days. I’m not going to :) Guarantee :) anything, but I will say this. It works!

For those of you who don’t have an Adsense account, but are in way too much of a hurry to create one. This is probably bad advice, but I’ll say it anyways. Borrow someone else’s. You’re going to remove it soon anyways, and they probably won’t get in any trouble for it because no one is there to click on it.

Two quick side notes for you. First, someone is probably wondering if this is just as good as Google naturally finding your site through other peoples’ links. My research shows yes. Second, this technique may be against Adsense’s Terms of Service. I’m not sure if it is or isn’t, so at the very least DON’T click on your own ad. That’s click fraud. Be nice to Google and their advertisers, and hopefully some day they will be nice to you.

hey i m trying to refresh my page and refresh quite a lot and i didnt found any real advertiser banner coming up,so wat to do.

#2 Comment By Eli On June 27, 2006 @ 2:19 pm

Nik, check your stats, to see if that caused adsense bot or googlebot to come to your site. If it did then then it’s working, however Google seems to be having a hardtime determining what your site is about. Did you forget a title tag or a heading tag?

#3 Comment By Noura On October 18, 2006 @ 6:14 pm

Hi,
I don’t get it, i have a page that have relevant adsense there 2 month ago and until now google dosn’t seem to index it.
Google just indexed 3 pages of my site.
Pls check the page below:
[1] http://www.womenweare.com/health,93e4d7.html

So what to do now?

#4 Comment By Eli On October 18, 2006 @ 6:48 pm

hey noura,
Sorry this technique is slightly outdated. It still works but not nearly as well as it used to. There are still plenty of ways to get your site indexed quickly, and i’ll continue posting them up. 2 months is a long time. Perhaps you have other problems.

i would personally blame your javascript navagation and the commas in your filenames.

#5 Comment By Noura On October 18, 2006 @ 10:00 pm

Hi Eli,
So you think its better to make the page name:
[2] http://www.womenweare.com/health

or

[3] http://www.womenweare.com/health.html
?

Also i am not using javascript navigation, i am just using one .htc file for the left menu, do you think this is the problem or my site is in google sandbox (though i have bought this domain a year ago)?

#6 Comment By Eli On October 18, 2006 @ 11:45 pm

yeah, i don’t think it would hurt to do a little review on basic seo techniques.

#7 Comment By Noura On October 19, 2006 @ 12:44 am

I just applied for an adsense account for my blogger blog. The adsense account has not been accepted yet but the code is already there (I didn’t put the code there..I guess blogger/blogspot did)

Right now it shows public service ads.

My site is already indexed, but I am just curious if the adsense code there will still send out for google spiders.

Just curious.

#9 Comment By james On November 25, 2006 @ 2:06 am

I will try this on my upcoming site. The only hesitation that i have is i might be ban from google adsense. Refreshing the pages from the same IP will make a ‘floated’ impressions.

By the way, thank you… you have great seo tips.

#10 Comment By Eli On November 25, 2006 @ 2:50 am

Take this technique with a grain of salt. It has become old. :(
It still works but not nearly to the degree that it used to. Instead I suggest you use my [5] Quick Indexing Tool

james, it doesn’t result in a ban from adsense. You are allowed to refresh your own page as many times as you’d like. If your worried about it you could always just use someone elses adsense code as mentioned in the post. :)

#11 Comment By Regret On December 31, 2006 @ 11:31 am

Wow. Seems very good technique. I will try it.

#12 Comment By Gospel On February 4, 2007 @ 4:12 pm

The quick indexing tool, isn’t working anymore :( tryed with 6 sites, but it passed 5 days, and nothing happened at all. I think you need to update the tool or maybe remove it, since it’s not working anymore.

#13 Comment By Eli On February 4, 2007 @ 8:24 pm

actually your right. It needs a bit of updating cus of all the use its been getting. I’ll be getting around to updating it early this week. :)

#14 Comment By Dbyt3 On April 9, 2007 @ 3:20 am

Just an idea, would it be very stupid if I were to trace whatever AdSense does (HTTP side), and make a script to do that on its own? :)

#15 Comment By James Galway On April 17, 2007 @ 11:19 am

Please add 8 and Zero..that made me laugh , thanks!

Ive tried this in the past and its work so I agree whole heartily with Eli… A man on the up and up ;)

Cheers and thanks again

As far as I know, Google search engine indexing robots are completely different that the Adsense content retrieval robots. My pages, that are NOT indexed in Google, shows contextual ads alright … much before they are indexed by the ‘Google search engines’ ! But it might help to have adesense code … I am not sure.

Thanks for the info. I didn’t know that. How long does the page(s) remain in the index?

For those who just want to see their URLs in Google’s index, in eight (8) hours or less, go to xomreviews.com and add your site info. The review doesn’t stay in the index forever, but I’ve done this with five sites: each were in Google’s index in less than eight (8) hours - some in two (2).

Also, try this 48-72 hour method:
Create 3 blogs from 3 different blog sites.
Write slightly different info about your site in each blog, but make sure you link to your blog.
Submit your blogs to de.li.cio.us, reddit.com, and various other social bookmarking venues.
Wait 48-72 hours and your articles will be in the index.

Enjoy!

Great technique, But I still follow the old method. I put few links in some of my sites. In few days, not within hours limit of course, I get google spider in to my site.
In the next site, I will follow this technique before linking, old method, and see how fast it gets my site indexed.

#29 Comment By Little Guy Network Online On May 24, 2008 @ 3:47 am

This is a great technique and I use it all the time with my new sites. Thanks for the great information as always.

#30 Comment By Noel On June 5, 2008 @ 7:39 pm

Yeah! this is so true. But he says it depends, Why it’s “it Depends”? because before you put the google adsense code into your site it’s better to have a good content first about your site, so that google would easily finds advertisers for you site to be displayed unto your google ads. After that spider will be crawling to your site and you you’ll be indexed.

Thanks for sharing this information this is a big help.

#31 Comment By Ryan On August 14, 2008 @ 12:56 am

Strangely enough when I setup my new webmaster blog, google ads for web hosting showed up strait away. 11 articles and 3 days later and I’m still not indexed. I guess in a way it’s based on luck.

#32 Comment By travelcn On September 2, 2008 @ 12:38 am

I woder why this method did not come to my mind, I know google will check pages with adsense quickly but I did not used this method with the fear that my adsense account might be in trouble due to impressions I have made, now I learned that I can actually borrow someone else’s code until I get indexed.

#33 Comment By Gagner de l’argent On October 22, 2008 @ 7:16 am

Nice post ;)
I just would add for stats addicts that crawl rate by Googlebot itself is reduced when you have adsense on your site, just compare stats between adsense sites and none adsense sites that have same publishing rate ;)

Thanks a lot Eli, I’m a quiet reader for a long time now and I do appreciate your posts :)
