I recently read that bing is finally profitable and so is duckduckgo as well.
Kind of crazy to think that when google came onto the market there was 5 search engines at the time, even whats more amazing was the fact that it wasn't untill 4 or 5 years after google came in that they actually figured out how to turn a profit. Maybe more, I don't really remember.
But out of those 5 none of them where profitable. It took until 2015 for bing to become profitable and DDG a while too.
Any industries right now that are not profitable but for some reason seem to have people in it?
